I bought a rampage top from the graveyard a few months ago and just started installing it this past weekend. Tonight I was installing the frame around the passenger door. I followed the instructions and the frame is down too low for the door to close and there is a large gap between the rear top frame and the window frame. Any suggestions on how to fix this??

You have put the door frame in the wrong place. The rod goes in a hole u drill in the door jamb. Not on the bed rail. That will fix the problem at the top. However most of us have made a bracket from the track on the bed rail to cover the area where the door frame drilled hole would be. Then shoten the door fame rod so the frame sits level on the door. Search for soft top door frame mod and you might find it. I don't have any pics to post right now

And in case you haven't already, I recommend that you put the top in the warmest room in the house. Maybe even next to a heater register.
Unless it's particularly warm or very sunny on the day you go to install the top itself, you'll be very lucky to get it anywhere near fitting.

I'm sure the rail-type tops are better in that regard than the old snap-types were, but the material is still the same. Can you say "shrinkage"? ;D
