I know this isn't Bronco specific, but you guys all seem to know your stuff (and I'm definitely a newbie just finding his way), so here goes...
Saw the diamond plate interior quarters on Blue Bastard's truck, and I really like the look. Bought a pair for mine, cut out speaker holes, primed and painted...when I installed them, there were a few scrapes around the speaker hole and on my hard top strip. I took the lazy route and gave them a quick burst from the spray can to cover thinking it would look fine, which was the worst thing to do as I've got some dark streaks now (you can see around the speaker hole, as well as a few streaks where I got too close to the quarter panel).
I'd like to touch them up. Question...is it better to just spray over them with a few more coats, or sand those areas down with fine grit prior to re-spraying? Appreciate the input!
