Do you guys know where the best place it to get the foam upper and lowers for the rear stock bench seat. I've got the seat down to the frame and going to replace all the parts to refresh it and am not sure where to get the foam from. Also do they have precut upper and lower wood as well?

That's not good, I couldn't be the first one to want to do this. I tossed the old foam b/c it was damp and had mildew infused within it. What are some alternatives?

It should be able to be cut easily, not much to it. I am sure someone doing a rear recover could get some measurements for you.

I bought some from Duff many years ago. If I were to do it again I would go to a place that sells foam and have it cut. Try an upholstery supply store.

I have two extra sets. I would be willing to part with one set. It is the Duff foam that is thicker density for a better ride. It is new.

I'm pretty sure NPD sells seat foam kits for the rear bench. Don't have my catalog handy to check (It's on my desk at work) so I'm going by memory.
Worth a look, see.

I'm in the same boat - the vendors don't sell it. You have to go to your local upholstery shop or craft store for 2" foam. If you want to pad it a bit more, add some 1/2" foam to it.

I'm going to redo my rear seat shortly and that's what I had to order. BTW, if your upholstery shop is anything like mine - you may have to pre-order it and could take a while.... Oh yeah it's now considered an environmentally "unfriendly" manufacturing process, so plan to spend a few extra bucks. I think the 2" x 24" x 60" piece cost me close to $90 at JoAnn Fabrics 3 mos ago.

Otherwise, it's a very straight-forward replacement!

I replaced mine with foam from a local Keyston. They had a slightly wedged shaped foam for the bottom cushion and regular thickness for the back. I think I paid around $80 for both. The back seat is now suprisingly comfortable...Let me know if you can't find it local, I can have it cut and ship it to you...

You might check Bronco Hut too....I spoke with them last week (I think her name was Melissa? sorry if not...) about EB Ranger interior stuff and, from the sound of it, there's not much they don't do/carry for EB as far as upholstery.

NMWILLY, nice work and thanks!! I'm going to try and find it right now. Is NPD's website just www.npd.com?

Forget it, I found the website
