Rear inside tub measurements

Looking for a measurement for the inside of the tub along the top edge where the hard top mounts. I know this area is prone to flexing (usually outward) and I want to brace it to my roll bar for that fact, and also for roll bar stabilization. I found 56" somewhere online. Can anyone confirm that this is about right?

56" is the correct measurement. See the diagram below. Mine spread about 1/2" when I removed the top.

Great thanks! Any reason you mounted your rear seat backwards? We go to the drive-in every so often so I debated switching it around as I never really have anyone back there.

My Bronco is not drivable at this point. The rear seat is not actually bolted down, the seat back sits against the tub bracing (floor pan replacement) so it won't tip over. My boys like sitting in the Bronco when I'm working on it. They would always climb over the back of the seat to get in from the rear. Just made it easier for them. It'll go back the right direction when it goes back together.
