I have the new poly from James Duff for the rear leaf spring, and wondered how hard it is to get 36 year old eyelet bushings out. Do they just hammer out or do you really need to just them out? Also is it tyoical to have to cut the bolts off or will liquid wrench help?

I have heard a couple of scenarios for the leaf-spring bushings being removed, some guys said they have had some fall out where the others needed different amounts and types of persuasion hammer and pressed.I haven't ventured taking mine out, other than helping someone else do theirs, although mine are way past due.

As far as cutting bolts or liquid wrench, this may be different for each person. I live and work with the worlds supplier and user of bolts ;D

So anything I don't need to bust a knuckle or blow a rear gasket on, I burn off with a torch in seconds-

Ditto the torch I torched my bushings out as for the bolts if they wont come out cut them and get some new grade 8's the old ones are probably rusted and pitted anyway.
