Rear Lift Gate Rattles-Bumpers available??

My rear window (top liftgate) rattles and I did a quick fix by putting a sock on each side, close the lift gate and it fixes the rattles. Are there any bumpers available or trick to fix this ? There is weather strip and seals but its not enough to for a tight seal to avoid the rattles.

The Macgyver sock fix is coming to an end and I will look into the shocks...thanks

I also put little rubber gaskets where the latches go into the sides. It keeps the bars from rattling around if they are not tight. Than I put soft rubber bump stops in at the bottom of each side so that I have to push a little to get it to latch. Not a rattle since. 1 down, 9,999 to go.

Putting shocks on mine fixed all the rattle...so far.

Totally agree with the great guru Jeepster. Heres some pics.
Total cost was 20 bucks. Found the shocks in the discount hardware store.
Bolted into the stock mounting locations with a little fitting.
