rear tires

i need to know what size tires and rims i can fit under uncut fenders.Please;no maybe this or maybe that.I would like to know back space width tire size and all the good stuff.There is a lot of room up in the fender well and i was going to fill it up.Thanks for all the help.

I had rims off a 79 bronc (the wagon wheel looking ones) with 30 x 9.50 mud terrains and a 2 inch body lift. I dont think the body lift was necessary, but it looked much better after I did it. Bear in mind this was over 10 years ago, and the MT's have had a couple of design changes. hope this helps.

i dont realy want to cut it because... it is just soo original... and i think it would be dumb.. i just want a little bit bigger tires so if i sell it i wont kick myself in the head for cutting it... but i dought yall would understand... its one of the cleanest EB's ive ever seen... all original..

If its orig and you plan to keep it that way, then keep it that way. Putting bigger tires on may damage that orig it they rub wrong. I say keep it orig and sell it or keep it orig and buy one to beef out. Dont stuff skinny's on it to try and make an original look tougher cause imo it makes them look worse.

Mine is original and it has 235-75-R15 on it. The rims are aluminum but are pretty much the same demension as stock rims. I don't think I could get much wider or the rear fenders would rub on the tires when it takes bumps.

I had 30's on my 73 at one time. 9.50. It was a bit tight, but they fit. Oh and if I remember right they were wild country's.<br><br>snake

I wasn't going to risk rubbing the fenders. Result: LT215x75 on 9x15 wheels. (I think it was 9x15! See gallery page 54, 5th one down.) <br>
