I have been looking at a lot of1966 pics trying to see the different style rearview mirrors on the winshield frame (not fender mounts). How about we see some good close up pics here. My '66 wagon has the glass mount type, and I will look at my other '66's to see as well. A lot of pics of roadsters seem to not have the central rearview mirror?

Rick, my 66 u13 mirror looks different than any of these. It's frame mounted with three screws. I've got it apart restoring it now. I'll post a picture when I get home today........ Also I've sent you a few PM's. did you get them?

Thanks, great references--looks like FORD would put on whatever they had at times...

That is a 66 mirror. But, they seemed to have used multiple mirrors. I know a 66 roadster that was bought from the original owner and it has the one in Tim's first picture.

I'd like to buy a windshield frame mounted silver 66 mirror for my roadster. I had purchased one from a guy sight unseen at Broncorama in 2008 and he sent me a Volkswagen mirror.

Anyone have an extra 66 windshield frame mirror they would sell me?
