So guys i ordered the tci maximizer rebuild kit for my c4 today along with the billet h-servo any thoughts on other parts i should look into replaceing while every thing is out? Its going back into the bronco behind a mildly warmed up 351w.

Well it should already have an H servo. I don't think there's a real need for a billet one. You'll break the band before the servo.

I can't tell what parts come in that kit. If these don't, get them: rear servo, sprag, thrust washers. Converter wears out and collects junk inside. Replace it too. Check condition of all bushings. I always replace the case, pump and direct drum bushings. C6 pump bushing is wider than C4 and supports the converter better.

What Viper said plus check input shaft for grooves, a new hardened input shaft will run you about $200, but will last a lifetime.

I'd put on a B&M trans pan.
It's cast aluminuim and won't leak,
holds more fluid and
has fins so it will keep you from overheating a bit better,
Uses an AOD filter which is easier to get if you do swap it..
You can install a magnetic drain plug to see if you are having any wear out problems later..
Finally it lets you install a trans coolant temp sensor so you can see how hot you are running.

I out one on a few yrs back and it's been great.
And no i don't work for them.. just a happy customer..

And now for the bad part. The original pan fill dip tube won't fit so I wound up buying a Lokar Stainless dip tube that bolted to the firewall..
But Brightwork underhood is always ok..

one more question. what do yall recommend as far as torque converters go? I'm thinking about going with a slightly lower stall to make use of the extra torque the 351 will have.
