This may be a stupid question but I am having the same problem with the rear axle way too far forward. I would like to move it back 2.5" to 3" back.
If I re-drilled holes in the axle perches 1.25" forward, could I also drill holes through the springs for an additional 1.25" to get me to 2.5"?
I do have access to a machine shop to ensure hole alignment on the springs but am not sure if this is a safe or viable option.
