OK, so I tried the rubber door seals, and like everyone else, the doors don't shut. I've tried trimming, re-fitting, now it's into the trash with these things.

I'm going to try some foam weather seal strips....but, does anyone know a good way to remove the yellow 3M adhesive from the body without damaging the paint? I need to get that cleaned off before I can play around with weather stripping the doors.

I've tried a heat gun and plastic scraper. Doesn't touch the stuff.

I just replaced my lower door seals last weekend with a set I bought from Northeast Classic Ford. My doors actually shut better than before, no trimming required. I used the 3M spray adhesive remover and then glued them down with Loc Tite adhesive. After I installed the seals, I shut the doors and let them stay for almost two days.

"Right Stuff" works great to repair seals or stick them back in places where 3M adhesive won't hold

Be sure to use good rubber gloves, not the thin ones sold in bulk. MEK is nasty stuff inside your body.
