Seems like a just saw a thread on this, but I can't find it now. What would you suggest would be the best way to get paint off of fiberglass fender flares without tearing them up?

Well, I'll respond, but only 'cause no one else has, not because I have any experience at this.

I have to believe any commercial paint stripper would work OK on fiberglass. I've seen Corvettes stripped this way, and it didn't damage the fiberglass. If you're not sure, just put a small dab on the underside of the flare, somewhere unnoticed, and see what happens.

At least I've given you a TTT!:)

I had my fiberglass door inserts media blasted , I then shot on a couple coats of gel coat and sanded them . Epoxy primer stuck like glue . You could also use stripper but be forwarned , it is messy .

Thanks for the replies. I'm surprised more people have not run into this.
70_Steve, Thanks for getting things rolling.
