Replace windshield hinge?

I am prepping a spare windshield frame for paint.

The frame has the hinge attached. It's in decent shape but not sure if I should use it or replace it.

Should I go with a new stainless hinge or clean up the factory one?

I am planning to have the windshield frame sandblasted.

If it were me, I’d use a stainless hinge and leave it bare.

We drill and tap and go stainless on the W/S frame and the hood hinges.
