New to Broncos, sold a FJ40 that I restored to get a Bronco. Body not that bad of shape but it will need some parts. Who has the best body panels (rockers, fenders) that are good fit and quality? Other vendors that you guys use would be helpful........ really what I am asking..... where do I get the good stuff?

Most, if not all of the vendors listed on this page (see ads above) sell pretty much the same stuff. There aren't that many companies reproducing these parts. Sometimes they have two lines, one is more expensive than the other, and is sometimes referred to as OEM. That's the ones you want. Where are you located? That may help us guide you a little better.

If the 510 in your username refers to the East Bay in NorCal, go with Wild Horses in Stockton. Great selection of parts and strong customer service as well.

Yup. Most suppliers sell Blue Oval or Dennis Carpenter. I think Blue Oval manufactures some parts in the Philippines. I don't know where Dennis Carpenter gets theirs, although they make tailgates in house. I've replaced major parts and almost nothing fits perfectly, even the "factory tooling" rockers. I've had to modify almost everything. That being said, it's difficult to say if it's because of the parts or the original body. Shipping can REALLY add to a bill so take that into account. Also, grouping lots of parts in one order can save on shipping and parts many times go on sale. Just remember to have fun!

Last thing, sometimes a supplier will attend a Bronco gathering and bring the parts with them for you to pick up. WH saved me a ton on shipping bringing me my hood to the AZ Stampede. Check with your local AR club and see if suppliers ever show up at their meets.
