Replacing Motor Mounts

I am replacing the motor mounts on my 302 (something that I never done before)..do I need a cherry picker to lift the engine or can be done without it ? I really appreciate any sugestions..thank you

it's easiest with a engine hoist, but it can be done with a jack. just be sure and protect the oil pan with a block of wood, or use a bottle jack under the side lip of the oil pan. i wouldn't try lifting from the front pulley or balancer.

Like he said. Usually best to do one at a time and piviot the engine to get clearance. Watch top side for wires, hoses, etc that might get tight. There is always one.
