Replacing the oil intercooler on an Explorer motor?

I want to take off the stock oil intercooler off my '97 motor.

Does anyone know the partnumber that has the replacement part that allows me to use the standard oil filter location?

I thought they just unscrewed and the stock filter fit onto the nipple on the block.

If there isn't a nipple, that should be all you need get. Have the dealer look one up for a '95 5.0 mustang. Not sure if parts stores carry it, I don't think they would.

96 Mustang didn't have a 5.0 it was a 4.6 which uses a diffrent filter, ask for one for a 95 Mustang 5.0..

My bad. I was thinking '95 as the last year of the 5.0 but the finger didn't follow the brains orders

I went to the Ford dealer and we looked up the part for a '93 Mustang off the microfiche. Worked perfectly.
