Doing a couple of restorations on 69 and 76 Bronco and need to purchase some repro body and trim parts. I would like to get FORD quality as the Chinese crap don't fit. I have looked at the advertised vendors but they all look the same to me. Any first hand knowledge would be appreciated.
Thanks D

Toms premium fenders fit better than others. I actually bought theirs after I bought from someone else because I was not able to get the fit I wanted even after lots of massaging.. Toms fit better.. Still took some fitting but were much better.

I used Jeff's bronco graveyard floor pans and was happy with the fit the tabs on the side weren't factory locations and seemed to help with the install. They did require trimming but I'd rather have too much than too little.

Looking to replace the front grill, left fender, left rocker and both front floor pans forward.
Also looks like I need a couple of rear floor braces underneath. I just hate the time consuming no fit china stuff. would rather pay top dollar for OEM fit. Anyone had any luck with LMC truck parts?

Do what I did, start looking through craigslist or allofcraigs and buy real used OEM parts. I think there are two bronco places one in NV and another up in ID that parts out Bronco's I bought a grill from the NV one. Cant place the name though. Oh, and they know what they have, bring money.

admittedly though, for some of the bracing parts and floor repair, you will probably have to go aftermarket. unless you are willing to buy that off a wrecker.

Jeff's has two grades of panels for some of the pieces. Some are Dennis Carpenter/OEM (or from OEM dies anyway) and some are Dynacorn aftermarket pieces. They don't have all of them in both grades but they have quite a few. I don't know what LMC carries.

My experience has been that these trucks have been twisted up so much over the last 35-40 years that the OEM's don't fit any better than the aftermarket panels in most instances. On front fenders and grills there seems to be a difference but the weld in panels all take a lot of massaging.

Just remember, they didn't have perfect fit from the factory back in those days either. If you're trying for better than original lines you will have to work for it regardless of the quality of the panel.

The place in NV is probably Glenn Lee in Fallon. I can't seem to find a current contact for him. There is also Bronco Connection in Nebraska, they part out quite a few. I don't know about the Idaho place but I would like too know who they are since I'm close.

I am very aware of the original showroom condition is not the greatest of fit. but when you add the no fit Chinese its crap! I am not building a show truck but am willing to pay for good fitting accessories especially when its down to the bezels, trim and weather stripping. Good OEM quality is a must at least in my shop.
