I need some help...
From the Bronco Ohio tech article: I bought the Napa #819-5835 arms, modified them and went looking for a wiper blade. No luck. I did a search on CB, copied all the numbers listed and I have been to Napa and my local auto parts store. I am unable to find a 13 wiper blade that will snap on to the pin on the wiper arm. Seems that the wiper needs to be narrow or the pin on the end of the wiper arm needs to be machined to accept a wider blade. Anyone got a 13" blade that will work?

Here is the end of my thread, I found something that works and was inexpensive, the trico number. Thanks for all that replied.
"I can tell everyone that the Napa Cherokee arm uses a 3/16" side lock pin. 1/4" pin is more of a standard size. A Napa Exact fit 14" blade #60-014-2 will work. Napa did not have in their catalog a 13" blade that would work."

A Trico #21-130 fits.

Part number? Manufacturer? Thanks.

I could'nt tell you what they are, but i know they're nothing special they're just 13" anco or trico(i think)blades, they come in the yellow pack. I never knew there was a difference in the pin size so i just grabbed a set off the rack. I just went and looked there is no part # on them

Hi Doug,

I recently completed my Cherokee wiper conversion with no problems at all. I ordered the arms and blades online at www.Partsamerica.com. The wiper blades I purchased are the Bosch Wiper Blade: 13" Micro Edge Excel; part #40913 for $9.99 each. Hope this helps.

What part number did you use for the wiper arms when you ordered them from partsamerica.com?

Walmart also. Drove mine in the rain yesterday and never was able to see so well. I didn't have to change the springs as some have either.

Ed thanks for the reply, your number was one that I found listed on another thread but I could not find it locally. I can tell everyone that the Napa Cherokee arm uses a 3/16" side lock pin. 1/4" pin is more of a standard size. A Napa Exact fit blade #60-014-2 will work, but I will have to shorten my arms again. Napa did not have in their catalog a 13" blade that would work. 10", 12", 14", 15" 16", 18", etc. seem to be available.

A Trico #21-130 is supposed to fit, but again no one had it available locally. I have a set coming in from Sacramento tomorrow. Thanks ;D to everyone that has replied so far.
Thanks for the Walmart suggestion, but there was no way I was going there today!

Bronco n' VWs,

I used the Dorman Wiper Arms (rear window), Part Number: 42873. Just a side note, I had to shorten my arm 3.5" to fit properly on my windshield, using the 13" blades.

904Bronco,
There are tons of used wipers and arms off of mid 80's cherokees at the pick-n-pull yard in San Jose. Another option if your blades do not come in tomorrow.

Thanks Ed.
But with a 4 and 6 year old in tow this week, it may have to wait until next week.

I got mine from Napa, The blades and arms all came together in the same pack. I didn't have to use a different spring either. I hope I don't have problems finding replacement blades.....
