Restoring old paint?

Is it possible to bring some pop back to old paint? I have tried to buff it out, worked okay, and used Nu Finish polish in a couple of test areas. I like the old patina look and most of my exterior is in decent shape for the age. Is there a reputable product out there like Turtle Wax or something that could restore some pop? What have y'all used and had success with? Thanks as always.

I had a Chevy pickup that would never really shine up. It wasn’t oxidized, just dried out. I tried everything, even furniture polish. A bodyshop guy told me to use Meguiars No 7 Mirror Glaze and let it soak into the paint. I put it on and let it sit for 24 hours. Rubbed it off and did it again....then I did it one more time, rubbed it off, and waxed and buffed it. It turned out great.

The Mirror glaze never dries. The old single stage paint soaks up the oils in it like a sponge and it will really make a difference. Here’s a long article about it....

California Customs: M-Ron Glass. This stuff has worked well for us. You let it sit on for a while before taking it off.
