Restoring Seat Tracks

I’m going back to my stock buckets with new covers and have decided to have them powder coated. But I’m having a time getting the driver seat tracks apart. I searched and came across a very short thread on the topic that stated no rivets needed to be removed. I’ve read an article on the early mustang Seats that stated “just bend the metal tabs flat”, which I’ve done. But either direction the roller bearings hit the button of the rivet. They are stock 77 Seats not sure if there’s a difference? Any help would be much appreciated!
