Right hand drive EB

Is there a right hand drive EB? Most all Ford cars and trucks have right hand drive ones, is there any EB's?

Most of Fords right hand drive units were built for the Europpean market. I don't think there was much market in Europe for a Bronco during the time our beloved EBs were made.

Would imagine it could be done though.

The very few that were exported to Australia ended up having RHD conversions done to them.
I recall seeing a magazine tech article from the early 70's showcasing the EB and the K5...

About 4 years ago I ran into a guy at the annual Riverport swap meet in St louis, MO who had a right hand drive bronco. He said that it was a rural postal vehical and kept trying to sell me on the idea of converting it to left hand drive. Looked like a PITA so I never gave it a second look. Looking back on it now, I could have got it preyty cheap. I think it's odd that no one else has seen one. Wish I had taken pictures...

not impossible my any means. figure if you had a shop and the right tools you could fab about everythng you'd need fairly easy. figuring out what steering box you'd want to use would take some 'siphering. worth while to do these days? more than likely not.
i'd like to see the one mentioned above, just to see how they did it more than anything. there's more than one way to skin a cat...

I remember a number of years ago reading an article in Mustang Monthly magazine about a guy in Australia who imported a classic Mustang from the US and had it converted over to right hand drive. The article wasn't a how to, but just a feature on the car. It looked as if it could have come from the factory that way it was so well done. I'd imagine a Bronco would be along the same lines in terms of difficulty.

I've been thinking it would have been cool to convert mine since I'm doing a frame off and re-did my dash too. It would have been easy to do and a novalty touch you never see. Now I'm too lazy to do it because I already have my steedring set up and my dash made.

I beg to differ but there is/was some RHD Broncos.
They went the the UK. And I know they exist I have seen one.
A long time ago but I know one does exist.

As to the steering box issue it seems there would be more options since most cars run the box inside the frame. Put the box on the outside right side. Probably many options.

You would have to swap all the engine and trans mounts around (the welded ones). The front body mount on the right side would have to be redesigned to clear the steering box. The trans tunnel would have to be modified....
If you look at a frame and engine w/out the front clip on, you will notice the engine is about 1" off center (to the pass. side). I think this is to clear the steering linkage.
