Rims for LUBR

After reading many threads, research, pictures of LUBR's with 31/10.5 tires, reading anything I could find, I finally did a 2.5" suspension lift with a 1" body lift to make my 71 a LUBR. Found a set of 31/10.5/15 tires and rims (Craigslist) and installed them. Low and behold, my rear fenders rub while driving, bumps, dips, etc.
My question is, what is the max negative offset for rims can you run with 31/10.5 tires with the rear quarters intact? I have no idea what the offset is on the ones I bought are yet, doesn't really matter since they rub. They came off of a 96 Bronco, so I "thought" they would be ok.
Any info would help, TIA!!

Back spacing... take a straight edge across the diameter of the rear of the rim and then measure the distance from the inside of the straight edge to the face of the rim that contacts the rear drum... I am guessing it will be 3" to 3.5"

I have 4" BS with my steel aftermarket rims on my Lubr

There is room to go 4.5" BS in the rear, but the limiting factors are: Finding a rim with 4.5 BS, the front rims may contact the tie rod on the knuckle before they seat against the Drum/rotor face, or will the tire/rim combination contact the radius arms while turning.

My 68 the 2.5 springs had sagged, to old to return so I added a 1" spacer block to give me a little more clearance... just a though.

I'm running a steel wheel with 4.5" BS and running a 32x10 tire. No rubbing front or back.
I think with a LUBR its all about the back space!

If you have the original steel wheels put the tires on them and you will be good to go.

kshinnall - If you like the stock steel wheel look, then go with a Wheel Vintiques 15x7" steel wheel with a 4" backspacing. They are a perfect fit for a LUBR and your 31x10.50 tires.

I have a set if needed, but can be found at Summit Racing.

Where is Lakewood? Thanks for the link to Summit. Send me a PM on what you want for your rims. Thanks again
