Road & Track's rendering of the new Bronco

Remember the photo that supposedly shows the side profile of the new Bronco under a tarp?

Road & Track did some educated guesswork and used that photo to come up with their best guess (so far) of what they think the actual vehicle will look like - no, it's not the '04 concept (thank God), and it's not the rendering with the F150/Raptorish sheetmetal that's been around for months, either.

It's not bad....it needs the iconic Bronco fender flare shape (shorter at the front, flatter on the top, longer, tapering at the rear), the doors should be more squared-off door at the rear and shorter in relation to the rear bedsides, and I hope the front fenders have the peak on the top, hard to tell.

I'm really looking forward to see what Ford has come up with.

My wish list for the new bronco:

Coyote engine
Four wheel disc brakes
5 speed tranny
A soft top
Lockers
8 point cage........wait a second.... oops! That's the list for my 69.

Its a scout with a longer door. **Thumbs down**

sweet, the new bronco is a 40 year old IH!!

At least it's not a jeep....

Be careful what you wish for. There is a 1.3 ecoboost in the Ford family.

Well, it'd be good to putt around in...??

if that's what it looks like they will sell the crap out of them, especially in my area.

Size-wise, he said we expect something smaller than the original Bronco but bigger than the 1980s Bronco II. Huh??:?

The original Bronco is a 92" wheel base and The Bronco II is a 94" Wheel base.

My brother told me the new bronco was featured in the movie “rampage”. I don’t know if that’s true

The Bronco II was a bit narrower
