Check out the Lux lights that Duff now has. They have neodymium magnets so no
brackets to weld or holes to drill and they work pretty darn good!

edit: Sorry Brian, I just reread and saw you already got lights from Santa...

Brian,
Not sure if you roll bar is tied into your frame but, if it is the roll bar tie ins worked well for me. I have the Duff lights mentioned earlier in the thread but no reason other lights couldn't be used on them.

Thank guys :) ya have the light just looking for the best place to drill and mount them. Might have to get the duct tape out and tape them on and find the best angle and position for optimal lighting and go from there

Key is they can't be pointing straight down for maximum affect. Those cool looking lights you showed me tonight should work great with the earlier suggestion about welding 45deg angle tabs to help direct the light out to the front/sides/back.

Heck, my tractor style sealed beam rock lights have been mounted on mine before LED lights were even invented!! :)

I'll be mounting my rock lights soon. I bought the ones used in this link and was planning to have them stuck (I'm epoxying rare earth magnets to the back) facing straight down as far outward as possible. Is there a particular reason straight down doesn't work as well? Is it because they are usually mounted closer to the frame? Just curious. Since mine will be on magnets I figure I'll make a temp harness and move them around until I'm happy with the light disbursement.
