I'm getting 4 Pod RGB Rock Lights to run for interior lighting on my 1967 EB. Can I run the Red and Black wires from the LED control Box to my upgraded Fuse panel or do they need to be connected straight to the battery. I will be installing an inline fuse if I attaché the wires to the battery directly.

I'm terrible with electrical..

That's a neat setup. Where did you get it from? Do you know what the amp draw is?

I agree that it is very likely you can just pull power from your fuse panel.

I found them on Amazon. You can get 2-12 lights depending how many you need. I plan on placing one under dash for each the driver and passenger sides and 1 above each wheel well inside in the back. You can choose between any color you want and dim the brightness too. All controlled with your smart phone. Turns on with your phone too so no need to install a new Rocker switch to turn them on and off. My EB is so dark inside I needed some interior lights.
Each light uses between 6-9 watts depending what you get. So with 4 lights on the circuit I figured I'd run the main power wire to my new fuse Box and install a 5 Apms fuse.

Fuse required = total watts on circuit/Volts X 1.25
9watts X 4 lights/ 12 volts X 1.25= 3.75 amps fuse

Looks the same as these from Hella:

I used them for dome lights, but I did not buy the fancy controller.

Just cut the plug off and applied power to all three light colors in the light to get white or you could Blue, Red, or Green.

No relay, just straight off the dome circuit.

Nice. I'm running these led strips. I put them in my pantry to light it up and liked them so much, I'm running 1' under the drivers and passenger dash, and 3.3 feet along the inner lip of the hardtop. The picture is a test fit and I'll angle them slightly to shine more towards the center of the top. I'll probably add a small strip up by the rear view mirror, but I like your rock lights for a more focused light for the driver and passenger to use, with a switch. They're 12 v so plug and play right into the fuse box. 1 amp per 4 feet.

Using a dimmer since they really light up the inside. You can spend a little more and get some waterproof ones from here:

Really nice! I like the light up inside the hardtop. With a dimmer they'd be great. The rock lights I plan on using have a dimmer function a on the app which runs them via Bluetooth

I tried the 8 pod system with these, nothing but problems. I sent it back and got a replacement, same issue. The app would turn them on, but then the was no control of them. The 4pod seems to work better. I ended up buying separate LED’s and wiring a simple switch. I’m using them for rock lights. I hope you have better luck than I did. Maybe the 2 gen stuff is better. I don’t know which gen I was working with.

Huge bummer... the LED rock lights showed up but the Bluetooth control module that came with them would not work.. I hate cheap electronics.. I sent the entire system back. Back to square 1 for some interior lighting

I put two rock lights in the rear lid of the kids Outback and wired to the rear dome light. They are super bright for the rear area of the wagon and the surrounding ground around the rear of the car. I can't imagine these as a dome light if you didn't have a dimmer built in.

Two more of the set of 6 I installed under the hood of my F150. Two more on the shelf yet.
