I'm looking for a sun visor solution, I have eliminated the factory wiper housing and was thinking about mounting my sun visors on the roll bar.
I considered the wild horses solution but it seems way overpriced for what it looks like you get in the picture. Has anybody used this is it a good solution?

I did the WH sun visors and they are one of the best mods I have done to the 76. Expensive? Yes. But they are quality. The Bronco wind shield is already very short and opaque sun visors are dangerous. With these I can still see, but the glare from the sun is vastly reduced. I have even used them to block glare from on-coming headlights at night. And while doing so, you can see see the road ahead. They are perfect. I will try to get some pictures in the next 24 hrs. Go for it. You will not be displeased. Did I mention that they are perfect?

I have them and really like them. Yes crazy money but was about the best choice for a quality item. I did have to have extensions for the mount because mine were too high to be effective. I got the extensions from the company that makes the visors. AXIA Alloy

I really like that style of visor - I now have some Rosen visors which are similar that move to the side (which I like) but these look like they're awesome too.

Axia is a local company and they make a lot of neat brackets for rollbar/tubing mounting if you ever have a need for such a thing.

O.K. I got a few pictures that show how they mount. Solid hardware. So much more useful than opaque visors. Just cool looking and don;t intrude into the limited headspace. Yes, the Axia Alloys hand grab brackets in that first image are really, really solid and nice.

After using the visors all year I can say that I am surprised that opaque visors are still standard equipment in new vehicles. These are so much more useful. I have never used visors before, but this year I have used them often because they just plain work, especially with the small windshield in a Bronco. A major upgrade. Same for the hand grabs.
