Roll Cage Help!

Hello fellow Bronco friends!

We're having a tough time deciding on a roll cage option and are not getting good advise from the shop we have our Bronco in. We're looking for a rear cage that supports a 3 point seat belt in both front and rear. We can't possibly be the first people to want to put kids in the back seat so I'm really not understanding why this is such an issue! I understand liability plays a role but I feel like we have no options and the one option we have isn't something we care for. Anyone experience this?

How old are your kids? If they are booster seat age or going to have booster seats don't go with 3 points. I guess this could also depend on the seats you use.

I built my cage and had three points in back. going over bumps or even worse the whoopties at a beach my son would slide out. I now have 3 points only up from and 5 points in the back. Since then my son has felt secure and not had an issue.

We have a 7 year old. She does not need a booster any more so I'm just looking for something that will protect her.

Thanks everyone - We were going to do the rear cage from Overhaulin' by Bronco Graveyard, come to find out they don't weld the hooks anymore for liability reasons. The shop we have our Bronco in right now is suggesting another cage but it's pretty boxy without the "sport" feel which is what we like so I'm not sure. I checked out the pic from the web which does show the belts attached to the floor, as well as, the cage. Is that typically how it's done? I checked out Bailie Bilt too and they seem to have nice options. The bars don't seem as thick as the overhaulin' which is something we liked, also. Confused! I appreciate the responses. I feel like our Bronco has been in the shop forever and we're just looking forward to getting her back! :)

I have that Overhaulin' cage from JBG.

Love it.

It was harder to paint than install.....great fit.....could not be happier.

Keep in mine what level of cage you want. Most of the builders will do hrew (standard cage material) or Dom tubing which is what the racers use. Naturally Dom will add to the cost.
