ron davis rad to close for comfort p side of frame

I have a ron davis 5.0 conversion rad and it up against the p side of the frame. are my mounts off ??how tihgt of a fit is it?? i measured the body off the frame its pretty even and sq maybe tweak that so it fits beter. OR is there a rad that gives me more room on that side.?? i do have a one inch body lift or how high can i move rad up befor hood and stuff is in the way?

We cut a 4 inch piece about half way through each side of the frame on the passenger side of the radiator. This piece was rotated and welded back in the frame to give a nice notch for additional radiator clearance. I run a generic aluminum radiator and this gave finger clearance for the drain valve.
