Depends on your budget and available space. Eastwood markets a decent full service version. There is another outfit I've seen you tube vids of too. You can also make one using harbor freight 1k# engine stands. You need to extend the height to get the swing, but its easy enough. This is the route I went. There are youtube vids on how to do this.

You also need to consider how you will support the body. I built a cart that will actually support the body once its on the spit. A frame works too. Either way, use pieces of pipe or similar as standoffs so you can get between frame and body. You can also remove the front clip and mount the firewall directly to it. The front clip isn't strong enough to support the body without some sort of extra support.

There are several threads on here with more information and photos.

I have an auto twirler I found on craigslist. It works great very happy with it, and it makes it so easy to get to what your working on. Used a spare frame to mount tub on. good luck!

My suggestion is to join your local hot rod/car club. Most often someone or several people in clubs has one that can be rented. I rented mine for 6 weeks for $100. When I was finished I gave it back and I don't have to store it. The best part is I know where it is when I want to use it again.

I built one for my 66 mustang out of 2x2 square tubing and it worked great, probably will pull it back out and modify it for the bronco when I am ready. Best part was even with the cylinders it probably only cost me around $350 and I have it for cars to come. If you have a welder, go to the steel yard and get some hobo freight long rams and have at it!

Maybe I can find some pictures of it...
