Rubber Mat For Rear Floor

I have a rubber mat as pictured below. Should I put it down before placing the self-adhesive insulation, or put it on top of the insulation? It seems to me it would be easier to apply the insulation over the mat. I plan on putting the vinyl flooring over everything.

I put sound deadening down first. It wont work unless it is straight to the body. I then put the rubber mat down, and then I laid the insulation and flooring over that.

I suppose you could do it either way, but like smedley said it seemed it would be much more effective to block the sound and heat if applied directly to the bed. Not to mention the added height of the floor if doing the other way, probably not a big deal if not going with a bench seat, but I'm not familiar with vinyl flooring

TBP, WH and BGY all have them for the same price, within a nickel, as I recall. I went with the cheapest shipping, which in my case was WH.
