Hey out of respect and since I've ask so many question for his swap I'LL bring you guy up to date ...It's been in the shop all summer seems like went in in June but the V8 is in auto in the cross member bought from Tom's worked good ..rear drive shaft is in .He is going to build the front at his machine shop after the job is finished ...Front shaft didn't fit past the AOD...Raditor from Tom's in ..waterpump and alt.. ac comp.. power steering I think ...Intake on and that gas acculamator Tom's mounted ...electric pump on the frame Tom's 23 gal tank ...They were pulling and shorting the wires and cutting out the extra on Thursday last week so it is getting close to crank up ....Shop is closed on weekends so Next week should be fun ...I'll add to this after I hear something ........
He'd like to get on here with us but he just doesn't have the time ...He's gotten one daughter married off at the front of summer ....and her shower ...Wifes grand mother passed away 102 he took care of selling her farm for the rest of the family ...His in laws have a trip each week to the hospital ...Father in law is coming down with altimers ..We went to Alaska for 10 days and now his other darghter had her Wedding shower this sat....and will get married in Sept something ...He is big in their church ....and he really does have a small business Mfg plant and tring to add a machine shop 2 CNC'S
And keep an eye on the bronco and line up a nov hunting trip to New Mexico
......

Thanks for the update, PAPITT. Sounds like he's a busy man.

Weren't they having some troubles getting the fan to fit behind the radiator? Did that get resolved?

If that is the case, I'd like to know how they fixed it. I'm having issues fitting mine in. The radiator is thicker than the old one and it's getting about 1/4 inch into the hose.

Yes I think they were having that trouble I'll have to ask him what they did to fix this issue .....
Now he has a new problem the guy anounced that he is closing up and going to retire ..He has been there about 30 years but he says he'll finish Alans bronco 1st..sure hope so ....
..A few days ago he said he had to have a different pass side exhaust header And one could not be found ..we took him one the next morning from our private stash....

I am not sure if your problem is the same as what I had after I put the BCB radiator in, I had to use a shorter fan spacer which led to the fan hitting the upper hose. All I did was shorten that end of the hose at the water pump to move it further away from the radiator. Hope that helps.

I don't think that will work with mine. I just need to take some pix and post them up and see if I can get some opinions on what the best course of action would be.
