All I know, is that the price of our EBs go up with restoration places like this and shows like "Counting Cars", "Overhaulin'" and "Fast 'n' Loud" doing them. Definitely, a great investment.
I agree and yet this is legit. The way this is done is by building a loyal customer base of people with lots of disposable income. Doesn't hurt to be located in an area with a lot of that clientele. Icon/Johnathan Ward has a lot to do with the crazy prices people are all asking for these rigs now. It has helped bring attention to these old rusty beast. I've been watching his videos lately and he is still finding Broncos for their tubs. According to him, he will find a pristine original low mile one about twice a year and clean it up then sell it. He respects the originality of them and won't turn those into ICONs. We can all applaud Jonathan for that.
