So I go to put my 67 seats back in today and the drivers side side won't line up with the factory mount holes. Now granted the seats have been out for over 2 years but man it had me scratching my head why they wouldn't line up.

And these were the same seats and sliders that were already in it? Yep, head-scratcher for sure!

Not lining up in what way though? Any chance you overlooked one of the sliders being in an odd position with the other one?
You didn't do any body work in that time by any chance, did you? Lettin' old uncle Buck come down from the mountains for a weekend's worth of weldin' n cuttin' might have come back to haunt you!

Good luck.

don't have any knowledge of 67 bronco seats, sometimes seats when out, sliders on each side will move independent of each other. try pulling slide leaver and move the one side where u need it.

This. I constantly fought this problem when custom adapting a Mustang driver seat. If it wasn't bolted down, the two sliders would move independently of each other. Total pain to get them back even without clipping a finger and swearing :-X

got it all figured out today. I was scratching my head why some holes are bigger than others though.

So, what was it? We gots to know...

Bigger holes? For the seat belts maybe? There would be two of those per side at least I would think. Then there are the ones for the loop, but those would be on the passenger side.

If there are several, then maybe it was for a previously installed bulkhead.
Or maybe the PO added something?

What threw me off was one hole I found that would take my factory bolt. But it wasn't the actual seat frame hole I was looking for. I ended up getting the bolt layout off of tom's bronco site. Seat is all in and bolted down tight. Now I'm trying to find some nice seat belts that match my light silver carpet.
