Replied to a Craigslist ad parting out a 87 fox body mustang. The seats were sold. He asked what I was doing, what else I might need, I told him about the Bronco. He said he has brake booster, pedal and MC off the Mustang, wants $75. Will it work, is it worth it, Y/n? Also, went junk-yarding today looking for seats. Saw several Ford Freestyles and considered the front buckets and the third seat in the rear. Anyone ever try these? I searched here and no results came up. Thanks. Howard in beautiful West Michigan

Vacuum booster off an 80s Mustang does you no good in an EB unless you're looking to fab something completely custom. You can get an EB vacuum setup for $200 and it bolts in.

The seats you put into a Bronco need to be low from the bottom of the mounting to the part you sit on, otherwise you will end up looking at the top of the windshield frame instead of through the windshield (or driving hunched over to see).

Still need to figure out mounting, sliding, seat belts, etc. Good start, imho.

Thanks RSPD505! I'm quite pleased myself! I asked for 2006 Freestyle (I had one) but I am not sure they are 2006 because of slight differences from the one I owned. But they will work! Leather, power, back seats fold, maybe tumble?, center console with storage, $570 from Pete's Auto Patrs, Hudsonville, MI., and I did not have to wrench them myself.
