Shifting glove box left- any watch outs?

I'm looking at eliminating the ashtray and moving the speaker grill and glove box over to eliminate any cage clearance issues. I know there are some door mods and aftermarket covers, but for a more custom and clean look, for those who have done this already, are there any watch out's or notes to consider before any cutting starts?

Thanks as always.

the only concern I would have is wiring and heater cable operation, give yourself enough clearance

I cut the speaker and the glove compartment out as a piece and flipped it upside down and welded it back in. There is a small clearance issue between the fuse box and the ashtray when closed, but I kind of like leaving the ashtray there.
Everything else fit together perfectly everything else fit together just fine.
