price fixing on containers? I found a pretty good range of prices, from 700.00 for the rusted out leaking ones to the 3200.00 refurbished ones. I would bet that the people that are selling them are picking up for scrap prices. But have to buy the whole "lot" having to take the good with the bad.

I went down to the city building department yesterday and even got a permit to make mine all legal. No problems there.

My 40-footer was $1400 plus $300 delivery. It was "refurbished" (painted) and is pretty nice. But I only live a little over an hour from the port of Long Beach and that seems to be what determines price. They have endless stacks of them down there.

Here where I am the 20 footers are 2350.00 and the 40 are about 4650.00 and I'm not sure if that is moved in and set up or not.
....Our Guy priced me one he said was Brand New for 6250.00 who knows I didn't believe him I think he sells SNAKE OIL also.

since your not too far from Houston you should be able to get a pretty good deal on one.
we have two of them here at work using them for storage during the remodel
