Shock Tower Placement

I have the same set up but slightly different shock towers. "If" you decide to weld them, make sure to weld the top along the frame and along the frame seam as Wild Horse 75 suggest. I didn't and tore the frame open at the seam when the shock limited out. The benefit of the bolts is carrying some of load to the back of the frame. Welding puts it all on the face. Now I have limit straps. Also, when you check your range, make sure to drop one wheel at a time (esp. passenger side) and make sure the shock doesn't contact the tower mounting bolts or frame when the axle swings in.
