Should I keep or sell my hard top ?

I'm contemplating selling off my hard top since I don't think I'll ever put it on the truck.
Wondering about resale though. Since I live in a colder climate, would it be best to store the top because some day I may sell my Bronco and the new owner may want one. Would not having one hurt my resale value ?
What would be a fair price for a top that is in 8/10 condition ?
Thanks.

I'm not a big fan of the hard tops, but I do always like to have one in my posession just in case. If it and 8 out of 10 condition and you have a place to store it...I'd keep it. Just my .02.

Good Luck,

I agree. You figure there not making them anymore and you do own a Bronco. You never know what the future holds. Besides what do you figure you can get for it? Prob not that much. If you have a spot to keep it I would(keep it).

I'm with the others that if one has space available, hold on to it. If your
rig is uncut and some one wants to buy it as a DD, They will want a top. If you for some reason have to store it outside, it will survive better with a top.

What's your definition of a colder climate? You're location information is not filled out under your screen name.

I'd keep it you may find yourself wanting it one day due to the colder climate you live in and age setting in. Heck I live in AZ and dont even think about getting rid of my hard top. In fact I rarely take it off.

I'll throw another vote to say keep it. I have a half-cab, and a full top myself and I won't get rid of either...and I live down here in the South where 20 degrees is cold...LOL!!

Heck - I live in florida and am I going to get one when I have a place to store it. Never know when you might need or want it. My vote is to keep it.

keep it. hang it up in the garage. it's out of the way and out of harms way.
it keeps your bronco complete and the value up if you ever want to sell it down the road.
soring them outside is hard on them (as anything), you want to try to avoid that if at all possible. if you must, keep it directly off the ground and covered if you can.
welcome aboard

I agree with the majority on this one. Which is odd for me and my rebel blood lines, but in this case, the majority is right. By that I mean keep the top if at all possible.

I'd say dump it. I live in Phoenix and they are easy to come by. I just like the looks of them with a soft or no top much better I guess. I sold mine on Ebay and was happy to spend the $300 I got for it on other parts.
