I am curious on doing a custom dash but want some ideas on what you guys have done. I like the idea of having the OEM gauge cluster in the center, but im open to ideas and pictures of what you guys have done!

BC has custom dashes available. You can get one with steering column hole already in place, and Gauge package centered as well. Many options and the rest is blank to do what you want.

I ordered one a while back. Nice quality and fit. I got the one dash with the Glove Box moved to the left. I then installed an AC vent at each end and one in the center below the AC controller. Gauge Pod and switches in stock location.

Sorry, no pictures yet.

I don't have a good picture of it all installed with everything but here is what I did.

The holes are for the stock ignition and light switch. On the left are the wiper switch, fog light switch, brake light and check engine light. The vents are the vents that come with the BC AC kit. Everything fit but it was very tight with the radio, ducts etc.

Probably not the custom you are looking for, but all I have invested in the dash itself is the cost of some paint.

I am combining my dash with a 1948 Lincoln Continental Dash. I am going to use the gauges from the Lincoln....

Very cool.....also, one of the old bronco driver magazines had a page with dozens of photos of different dash configurations, great for ideas....

Nice BoureeOne! Should be pretty cool. My only concern would be that there will not be a lot of space left for the other controls. Can't wait to see it done.

Also, there are other threads on here showing dashes. I would do a search. ;D

Mine is still a work in progress, but I moved the glove box, eliminated the ashtray, and speaker grill, and added late model explorer vents. Also added vintage air a/c control panel I intend to use with the BCB Vintage Air kit.

That's a sweet radio! What brand? How does it sound? Must've cost a pretty penny ;)

Mine is in process though on hold at the moment till after Super Cel and I can buy the vents I want to install but the layout is pretty much complete. I moved the glove box over, removed the ash tray and speaker grill and added a tach as weli as relocated the switches and dash lights.

Here are a couple of mine-both basic, simple, but functional- red one used autometer guages and switches, grey used a refurbished stock cluster and '66 knobs for switches. Post up what you end up doing.

One I did back in 2005. Custom overlay I drew up and had laser cut. Stereo was mounted in the center console.

And a custom laser cut faceplate for the WH under dash "cubby" with the same pocket like the above dash for a cell phone, wallet, etc. and a CB mount along with holes for a couple switches and a dual USB charger for another customer that I just finished. It and the dash are out for black wrinkle finish powdercoat now.
