show me your midnight blue bronco

Hey i was thinking about getting a midnight blue paint job, its about time for a new one, especially since i have the original brown still on mine. I was just wondering if you guys could post some pics of midnight blue broncos so i can get an idea. Thanks

This isn't exactly midnight blue. It looks almost black at times but in direct sunlight it gets real bright. It's a Saturn/Hummer color. :eek:

I'd love to, but at some point a previous owner decided to layer it with a brownish/purple paint job.

here's my first bronco that started it all. last painted in 1983. it's a ford midnight blue from that era.

thanks paul. lots of memories in that truck.today it sits in a climet controlled enviroment now retired. someday i'll do a complete freshen up on it. it really needs it. it's had a very hard life.

Here's my 76 Ranger painted factory midnight blue. If I remember right they called it midnight blue with metalflake.

I believe the slammed Bronco belongs to Jerry Walker. There is a Bronco on the cover of Bronco Driver magazine, issue #19, Jan./Feb. `06 that looks exactly like the pic you posted. Do you have anymore pics? It would help to verify.

bax i really like that color. Could you give me like the name or number of what that color paint is cause thats pretty much like the color i am looking for. It looks really nice. I might like it even better if it was a little bit darker but thats pretty close. That slammed bronco looks pretty sweet too.

Its a stock lexus color the name is "spectra blue mica" I will find the number code and send it to you

blue71 i like that one alot too. Im really glad im starting to find these sweet paint colors. When i get mine done ill do some before and after shots, and show you guys what color i did.
