As many of you know I just finished my 4-link in the rear. That is great for the rear but the only problem is now my front is lacking even after my efforts at helping it. I am running CAGE 5.5" coils that I have seen FLEX! I am just not getting it out of them so I want to wrist one of my custom radius arms. So give me some ideas please!! I am leaning towards a big johnny joint but I am not comitted yet.

I agree with bronco69er you should be getting more flex out of your extended radius arms, is there anything else binding upfront?

WAH all the way. It hands great on/off road. Maybe more money than you want to spend (if ur doing a home brew radius arm), but I have had nothing but smiles w/ my WAH.

Here is mine. It is a cheap alternative to aftermarket suspensions. Some times it is annoying having to pin and unpin. I'll up grade one day.

There are several spots that limit articulation, first is the frame mount for the radius arm, when the axle drops too far the large washer at the frame mount hits the mount,I cut the frame mount off and rewelded it back to the frame perpindicular to the radius arm. Next on extreme travel the bottom shock mount binds in the mount, I made some shock joints that bolt between the bottom shock bushing and its mount so there is no binding and shock can move all over freely. Next the trac rod is hard to flex,on the frame end I put a flex joint, had to modify frame mount. At the c bushings I took a grinder and ground edges thinner but left the locating ridge alone feathering from the ridge out to the edge. This loosens them up but still allows them to stay located. And need longer shock to take advantage of extra drop. And I like rubber bushings at radius arm frame mount. And you need soft coil springs that allow flex.I run extended radius arms.
