I am in the process of mounting some motorcycle mirrors on mine. I traced the contour of the door on paper on taped it to a mill and digitized the line, and then I entered it into a cad program and posted code to it. The machine did the rest. Here is where it is now:

custom made my own mounts on mine to mount a light on each side. then used a CJ-7 mirror assembly with bicycle seat quick releases for narrow spots. then got 6" convex mirrors for the heads.

i have a set of 7" stainless square mirror heads if anybody needs them.

Trailblazer- Those look sweet...keep us posted as it comes together...

Thanks trailpsycho. Here they are mounted. The rubber gasket is too thick though. I am going to use a piece about half as thick.

Can't see how they are mounted with that label. Makes me wonder what they are covering up - there is plenty of room in the photo to move their label. Note they covered the mounting points on either side with a separate label.
what's funny is i asked for a pic of how they are mounted, and the guy told me that if his feedback wasn't good enough for me, i was out of luck and couldn't see the mounts for myself... nice.

Here are some of the BB and F series mirrors I just finished bolting on. They were chrome but I blacked them out. Look at the rest of the rig and you can figure out why....

Here are my CJ mirrors. I also did a complete write up on the install in the Tech forum. Just search CJ Mirrors in the Tech forum. It shows the exact modifications needed to mount them to the outside edge of the windshield frame so the windshield can still be layed down. They do shake a bit, but they are big enough to see well out of.
