Hey Guys,

So this post is inspired by two classicbronco members.

1st is ckriz who just posted his amazing olive drab rattle can paint job.

2nd is for someone I met in La Jolla, CA a couple of years ago.

Very cool fireman, he gave me his stock tire carrier and he too had just rattle canned his Bronco with refrigerator spay paint. [But sorry I don't remember his name..]

ANYWAY, Show us your rattle can paint jobs! If you've rattle canned your Bronco, please post the photos for us to all enjoy.

[So the hell with Earl Scheib or 1 Day!]

Here is mine. It is a rock crawler so I didn't put much work into the body before painting, just fixed the rust. I really like how it turned out and every person I have told that it was spray paint couldn't believe it. It is holding up well after 2 years on there! I can still shine it up like it was just layed.

Wow, those look a lot better than I thought they could. I'm now half tempted to do this myself especially with summer coming up and I know real paint is a looong time away.

What's everybody's opinion on the best paint to use?

Maybe "70EB" will post a picture of his grey rattle can job before he went to the orange paint.

Looking good guys, how many cans is lots of Wimbleton White? I think I'm going to repaint my Bronco in April. This looks like fun!

Keep posting...

You can see pics of mine in my gallery. I rolled on boat paint with a roller. Can't afford to have it done professionally and I'm not afraid to run it through the bramble bushes either! I use rustoleum to touch up the paint chips and gouges. Required about 2 quarts and supplies...maybe $150? I haven't wet sanded it....which would probably really make it look great! I'd rather have an extra thousandth of an inch of paint to protect it.

I just bought me some satin black for mine today. I'm tired of brown primer and green paint. HA

Mark in Indiana, wow! It looks great, they all look great! Decision made, I'm going to rattle can my Bronco over Spring break in April. I've got to keep my fingers crossed for good weather.
