I thought I would add the right hand companion mirror to my left hand remote and look what I got.

I don't think anyone makes an exact matching mirror for the remote. I've heard a 75-ish Granada remote right hand mirror is close. But good luck finding one.

Yes, my wife owned a 75 Granada when we got married and it had a matching right hand mirror and it was the same cable-remote as the driver's side. Again, not sure if it's an exact match to yours but it's much closer than what you received.

I’ll have to check that out, but I think it was more square.

After a extensive internet search for the right one and coming up with nothing, I’m considering changing the drivers mirror to match the new one.

That’s what I had to do. Bought and returned several companion mirrors that didn’t fit or match. Just boxed up the driver’s side remote mirror and will wait until I stumble across a match.

I took the plung and bought a pair of Scott drake 67-68 mustang mirrors and replaced the remote bronco mirror so I could add the right hand companion.
These mirrors are a bit smaller but work fine.
