Just finished a project adding a lift and 35's. The first thing my vertically challenged wife said is "I need steps to get in!". So I decided to try building my own. This is my first larger fabrication project and I have to say I'm very happy with the results. Thought I would show off a little. That's allowed, right?
I started with 2" x 3" tube and put short 45 deg ends on. I then ran 2" square back to the frame and used angle iron for a mounting surface. The mounts are welded directly to the frame. Might be overkill, but they are nice and strong.
