I am sure you have looked at the Bronco parts houses suspensions. Why the interest in the skyjacker? I don't have any experience with their lifts on EB's but some of their other products I have worked with have been less than impressive. Check out the BCbroncos kit and the WildHorses kit. They are both good ones. I have personal experience with the wildhorses and it has an excellent ride. I know alot of guys on here use BC and that is what I am going with. Just a few ideas.

I agree with them. I have a 3.5" Wildhorses and it couldnt be better, soft ride progressive rate coils and ten pack leaf springs offer a great ride with impressive flex. Im sure duffys or BC's kits work equally as well, i would look into these companies.

Here is the other problem, from the sounds of it, you guys dont like sky jacker. Now I wont be doing any rockcrawling, being that there are no rocks here in NE Ohio, but alot of mudding. This suspension retails for around 800 bucks, I can get it for a little les than four, its a true suspension lift, not blocks or anything, what about that? Also, because I have a 66', and the suspension is for a 67', (different rear shock mounts) will there be a problem making the drop pitman arm functionable? Are there other differences I am not aware of? I have the 170 st six under the hood, if that helps you identify it.

That is a good price but there is probably a reason why you can get it so cheap. It may work well in the mud but I think you will be disappointed with it on the road. If you don't drive much on the road, it might be a good way to go. The wildhorses and BC kits that were mentioned are also true suspensions lifts, without blocks. They are more pricey, but better IMO.

As for the rear shock mounts, anything can be done with a little backyard engineering and a welder. I don' know about the pitman arm. Good luck!

I HAD their 3.5" lift stiff & I had to replace the coils soon after installing it (of course they would not let me return) because the rear was a few inches (and the hard top was still on) higer than the front. But other than that they did lift the truck. Oh btw the shocks that came in their kit lasted less than 10K. Go with WH or BC's set up if you're just getting the springs it shouldn't cost more than $450-460+ship.

Yeah go BC/national lift, then throw some rancho RS 9000s on there and you can adjust firm for the mud and soft for the street, all the while keeping your teeth.

I have 5.5" Wildhorses Pre-Runners up front and 2.5" Nationals with blocks in the rear. While the blocks suck, the ride is unbelievably smooth. Get a Bronco specialty lift (WildHorses, BC Broncos, Duff). Make sure you get progressive rate springs, they ride far better than the single rate coils.

This isnt a block lift, im getting the 5" leafs for the back and coils for the front. The reason for the good price, the company I work for (4wd Hardware) buy's jeep suspensions from skyjacker, and they got me their cost on it. BUT, from the way it sounds, Im gonna hafta look into a different suspension. My bronco gets no junk! lol. So here is what I'm looking for, a suspension thats a happy medium, between a rockin and a muddin suspension (I like articulation). I know everyone has thier own taste, but gimme details on WHY you prefer your specific brand susp.....

If you want articulation you are going to need longer drivelines, extended brake lines, wristed radius arms, cross inboard rear shock mount, national springs... Help me out here guys.
