Now, READ CAREFULLY-if you commit here then you are expected to be ready to juice your card, contact person, # etc.will be listed when we get at least 8 sets.
Disclaimer-all above pricing info/shipping etc. was set by WheelTech. I am not a dealer-thanks to those who inquired :)

17X8? Any chance we can get 15x8?
At this time the quote was "we will see how the market receives the 17's" Possible release in the late spring/summer '07.

I see 15x8 and 15x10
Do you know if they are going to do 15x8.5 like the old classic rims, or maybee even 15x9's

Also any plans for 16x9's ??

It would be nice if they can work up a few different sizes just for the Bronco's

17's at this time in our 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern (SLT Muscle Mag wheel). If they go, maybe we can talk them into making the 15's

Thanks KB

To me I would think they would sell a ton more 15 or 16 inch rims

Karl,

Whats the status on the interest level on these so far (how many are in)?

Anyone know what the cost is to have Champion (or someone else) install beadlocks on a 17"?

interest level was good, stepping up to the plate with plastic in hand-slow, obviously Christmas time is not the best time to have this mass buy-gotta luv 1 month delays....... We have a couple as of now-one here on CB and another email from the mailing lists

Champions- C1-traditional "narrow ring", 199 per, C3-the one in their add in 4wdsu with the "drain holes in it" 219.95, and another hooptie do one with recessed bolts similar to the C3 is 244ish.... www.chanpionwheel.com

Thanks for the interest,
Karl

I think you would get more takers for 15x8 or 15x10 wheels. The wheels look great and I like them a lot but I need 15 in wheels. Maybe you should do an online poll for the 15 in wheels and see what kind of market is out there. Hopefully that will lower the price per unit if there is a demand.

FYI..you can get the American Racing slotted mags for $150 each on Ebay.

Logical post- To briefly update this deal- When I approached the company several months ago, my first question for them was the availability of a 15" wheel in the Muscle Mag style. They informed me they would have to "retool" to produce a 15(keep in mind this is not a company on the level of ARE etc...). I was also told-their research showed the decline in 15" tire production/purchasing-they are NOT familiar with the large following of OUR rigs of choice and similar "wheeled" vehicles!!!! With that said, I asked if they would consider adding a 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern to their existing 17" wheel product line. That has taken place and all I have at the present is a slight possibility of releasing a 15 some time next year.......

While I understand the need to accommodate the newer bling and the guys that are running up to 44s, I think the real need for true retro wheels is on the original survivor or restored cars and trucks that ran them in the 70s. BTW, those would even include 14s.

I'd love to have a set of these, and while the 17's are very appealing, I have to agree that 15's would better suit me. I'm not trying to pile on here by any means, I know this is out of your control, I just want to reinforce the interest in the 15's. That being said, I may end up jumping on this mass buy for the 17's, but my one reservation is that I go with the 17's only to see the 15's come out in April and end up wishing I had waited. What to do, what to do...

Can someone explain to me what the big deal with retooling is. They have the wheels in 15" available, they just need to drill them to our preferred bolt pattern. What is so involved that they aren't eager to accomodate the people with 5 on 5.5? These should be pretty popular with the older off-road croud that run Jeeps, Dodges and Scouts and all have the same bolt pattern.
Karl, sure do appreciate your work on this thus far.

I'm concerned about the backspacing - 4" is too much. It needs to be closer to 3.75, or even 3.5". I don't think you can run a 4" backspacing without wheel spacers.
