A small project, now that we should be able to get a hold of both a resin or actual model in the near future I can put this resin to use...

After getting a working drag car I will go back and chop the top...
I'll try to make it look a like thr vision for my street rod project
However, I most likely will go with half cab on the real deal.

Was that made on a 3D printer ?

No... there was a fellow on another site that was making these resin models.
The frame is stainless (unassembled) and can bought at any slot car drag racing shop.

It was not very hard to assemble just had a little reading to get the right flux and solder to build up.

The original Cheez cast resin molds were purchased and the fellow was auctioning the first runs on ebay. (should be nicer than the one I am using) We should be able to purchase the resin models again soon. Also... an actual model should be available next year per Jeff Trapp and the Broncograveyard.

Yes they are out of scale, but this is required to use. It will actually be a
functioning drag slot car that can be raced... I will pick up remaning motor and brush parts tomorrow.

I am glad I started this model... It inspired me to start the chop on the half cab for the streetrod project. It is looking cool!
