I am planning (a WAY out on the calendar) wheeling trip to the Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch AKA SMORR on the last weekend of November.

Yes that is turkey day/deer hunting weekend and after eating a turkey leg and hope to have Bambi's dad in the freezer already, I am heading that way to celebrate being home from Afghanistan go off roading in my Bronco.

Dates in November are Thurs 28th, Fri 29th, Sat 30th and Sunday the 1st of Dec. And yes it will be during SMORR’s Annual Turkey Day Weekend Run 2019! More the merrier right?

So call now and get your cabin reservations made. FYI they have added 6 more new stand alone (sleep 4) cabins? http://www.smorr.net/ Yes a bit pricey, but does not beat the ability to wake up and wheel. Besides I do not own a camper and am not a tent camper anymore. lol

Howiepalooza is unfortunately not going on anymore, so lets try to go have some fun anyway. Rich

Update: Michelle says: We have 8 total cabins with only one left available(as of right now)for November 28-December 1! They sleep 4 adults OR 2 adults and 3 kids.(no exceptions). Please have the person who would like to reserve it send in their info ASAP and I’ll get them set up! Campsites and cabins for that weekend have been going pretty fast the last few weeks!
Thank you!

Last time I was there (tearing my trac bar drop bracket in half and spending some time at the welding trailer)....I seen that they had one completed.

I was told it was for a personal family member of Brandon's. And they were working on the rest. I seen some inside shots on FB also, looks pretty nice inside.

Even been to Kansas Rocks, Flat Nasty or Disney? Rush Springs Ranch is ok, but not well mapped and they let dirt bikes, go carts, mini bikes, 3 wheelers you name it, its a free for all down there.

flat nasty no, K Rocks and Disney are very cool places to go as well..

Disney is wide open, unless you go back in the woods, on those trails

K rocks has a TON of trails.. just primitive camping or maybe not at all?

Remember I went there a while back on a real short notice trip. Jeff/Yeller made it over. Disney is cool enough for sure, I had a good time out on the open stuff and back in the trails.

Panty Dropper was fun with the tube buggy and its pretty much stock axle/drive line set up.

My poser pic. lol

Thanks, always nice to hear about other places. A well mapped out place is only as good as the signage on the trail. Unless you are one of then GPS guru's. lol We do not need no stinking signs, we have a GPS, oh hell is just fell out and got run over.

I always have shied away from Flat Nasty and D-Day (Wyandot OK) due to there open encouragement of liquid courage, both have had related fatalities. Got no issues with adult beverages, but the key is adult, it and anything requiring motors skills and/or cognitive thinking do not mix.

I watched a few Bricks Off Road park videos on U tube and that is why I never mentioned them. Not my deal, I out grew that stuff years ago.
