Got anymore pics or info from the boat tailed one in rock challenge 3 picture.

That is Lou Levy, a good frined of mine. It's got a 5.0 EFI, C4/D-20/203 doubler with HD Wild Horses output, 31 spline 9" rear, narrowed HP 60 front with 35 spline alloys, BFG Krawlers on 17" MRW beadlocks.

It has Detroit lockers front and rear and has rear cutting brakes and a twin stick to allow very tight turns.

The wheelbase is stretched to 101 or 102", custom long radius arms and rear traction arm. Fuel cell, bobbed front and rear.

Lou is all about simplicity and function over form. I tried to talk him into letting me do some body work and paint, but he insisted on a quick and dirty job with a brush and a can of Rust Oleum industrial silver. I know see why! He's rolled it three times in the firt couple months of practive and one competeition.

The rig works very well, and Lou is a very talented driver as proven by him having the only zero point Rock Challenge run that also had the fastest time.

Kane Ricardi is his spotter and is a great spotter and driver as well.

Hey thanx for the info, just one other thing I'm curious about, how much did he remove from the front and rear when he "Boat Tailed" it.
Francois.

It's narrowed 14" in the rear and 12" in the front. Lou just told me his wheel base is actually 103" after moving both the front and rear axles out.

Here is a post of Lou playing on "The Wall" this past weekend.

This line is VERY steep and nasty and most non-competitors would not even try it. He also takes a line that straddles the verticle crack to the left, that's even steeper.

The lengthend wheelbase, low gears and sticky-soft tires shine here, no tire spin at all.
